Stakeholders' Forum

The stakeholders' forum convened in Durham 30 November 2004 bringing together forty participants from across the multi-agency partnership involved in developing the DSPD Women's Services at HMP Low Newton. The majority of attendees represented the Tees and North - East Yorkshire NHS Trust, Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust, HMP Low Newton, HMP Durham and the DSPD Central Team. It was a successful event where presentations were given on issues relevant to the Primrose Project. Towards the end of the day the forum was split into four groups of which each group discussed areas relevant to the progress of the project. The four topics were; start up challenges, research / assessment issues, recruitment obstacles and the maintenance and improvement of the partnership arrangements. All in all it was a successful day and the Primrose Project looks forward to convening another forum in 2005.
